This project included replacing waterlines throughout the District. EWCID#1 is in the process of closing out the project. Construction was completed in January of 2025.
The project was administered by the Texas Water Development Board.
The prject was funded by the Texas Water Development Board through the DWSRF program.
The water system improvements consisted of replacing smaller diameter lines along County Road 849, Hwy 96 (eastbound frontage road), Hwy 105 and County Road 854.
This project was constructed to replace smaller diameter waterlines to provide more adequate flow and pressure throughout the system.
Upgrading water lines

We are upgrading existing water lines on CR 854 and down the feeder road on Hwy 96 N from the masonic lodge to the well on CR 849. We will be upgrading them to 6".
